Capt Proton Posted October 14, 2007 Posted October 14, 2007 Looking for the default voltage for the memory, or is it SPD dependant?
Praz Posted October 14, 2007 Posted October 14, 2007 Default is most likely 1.8 volts as that is the requirement by JEDEC for DDR2.

Guest pricyber Posted November 4, 2007 Posted November 4, 2007 Default for the ram is 1.8v But I cant get the ram to run at 1.8v(Gigabyte P35 board) even with manual setting in bios, and set to "NORMAL" vdimm show up as 2.2v
Branjo Posted November 5, 2007 Posted November 5, 2007 @ pricyber I use the F5 BIOS it came with and my default "normal" is 1.8v I have it set to +0.3v and it reads 2.1v in everest. Make sure you don't use "optimize system voltage" in the BIOS as it will probably use the SPD on the RAM itself, but in saying that I would imagine the SPD would be 1.8v not 2.2v, weird. what RAM are you using anyway pricyber?
