What's the story on the Infinity for a good 775 board. Thinking of selling the AMD core system and going with Intel, so...and any other recommendations would be appreciated as well.

I love my Gigabyte DQ6...also the Abit QuadGT is an awesome board. If you want a 975 chipset you might also check out the Intel Badaxe board.

5 minutes of fooling around and I'm at 3.2 ghz before really tweaking anything. Stock memory timing, stock FSB voltages, stock MCH voltages. My FSB is at 400mhz.

Like any other board, the GT does have a couple of hurdles that needs to be dealt with.

At this point in time the BIOS is still kinda rough.. The best option today is the 06 beta Bios. But before it can be flashed there are a couple of settings that need to be configured in the original BIOS.

There are no secondary timings available in any current BIOS. This isn't an issue until the board is pushed really hard. tRRD and tRTP are fixed at 5 and 7 respectively. Once memory speed gets above 1150MHz these values are too tight. There are some work-arounds for this though. Hopefully these settings will be available in a future BIOS release.
