brutalchris Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 I'm wanting to setup my system with this Zalman CNPS 8000 cooler. I was wondering if anyone else has tried this or more importantly if they know that this will fit. Zalman claims that it will work on AM2 boards so long as there is 18mm between the end of the retention frame and the ram slot. I tried posting a tread over at the new dficlub forums, but I haven't heard anything in 4 days of waiting. In the meantime I've been waiting for these new forums to come back online and so glad they have... hoping for better service here . brutalchris Posted January 25, 2007 Posted January 25, 2007 Disregard this thread, I did receive some feedback and DFIclub and they suggested that it would work based on pictures from newegg. I had already looked at all the pics and was wanting something more definite. In any case, I have decided to go with a different case which allows me more room and thus a different cooler that I know will fit.
