Sorrento Posted December 22, 2006 Posted December 22, 2006 WOW, excellent mod... this pic shows it well (for those who don't have super bandwith): http://tweakers.net/ext/f/a2764cda511fda99...1af7a3/full.jpg And this other one shows a very smart tip for when using power tools when protective glasses are not available, a piece of acrylic as a shield is perfect (well done for the guy making the mod); make no mistake: lack of protection = certain injury: http://tweakers.net/ext/f/e612f414990e811d...a31157/full.jpg
t_ski Posted December 23, 2006 Posted December 23, 2006 being safe means always using the proper tool for the job. In this case a tiny piece of acrylic with a can of solvent holding it down is not the right tool for the job. ALWAYS WERE PROPER PERSONAL SAFETY EQUIPMENT!!!! I keep thinking about being in the middle of nowhere and having the need to improvise, as when fishing or camping... something modding a computer IS NOT.
