Well I must be truly blessed! I had absolutely 0 problems set up, PSU ,12/07 bios even at optimized defaults it ran great. But it certainley runs better with the appropriate settings in Genie bios and DRAM config with the 2.5 OC! Can any body tell me what advantages there are in the latest official? Also I will add that the only thing that stumped me was getting the damn thing too boot from CD...lol.. never had a mobo that you had to enable usb keboard and usb mouse support for:D

Bios changes in 04/06/2006 from www.dfi.com.tw

The BIOS Upgrade for LP UT NF4 SLI-DR Expert Only

1. Add CPU temperature calibration option.

someguys like this feature

2 . Fix S1/S3 temp error after resume.

never could get the S3 working correctly

3 . Fix startup VID option fail.

didn't have the issue

4 . Fix C 'n' Q .5 multiplier not working with opteron CPU.

I don't use Cool N' Quiet

5 . Fix day of month alarm can not set as 0 for every day usage.

Still not sure what this is

6 . Fix ATI X1000 series logo error.

This bug caused graphics errors in the boot screen and made many users crazy.

7 . Remove Write CAS latency item and replace it by Odd Divisor Select.

Still haven't taken advantage of odd divisor correct

8 . Add support for SST 49LF040B LPC flash ROM

Support for different ROM Chips

The real key is, there isn't a "BEST Bios".

If you want to try different bioses use Tmods Bios CD 7.0 over in the Bios Factory Section,

Glad to hear you had a smooth build.

Now start working on an entry for the OCDB or SSDB :)

Ah, most people have problems with the expert because they too lazy to resolve the problems "their" build have occured. My expert got my 3500+ to 2.9ghz without a sweat and now my Opty 165 to 2.924ghz no prob. My parts for my rigs are no even close to high end, including my memory and I have no problems. I even have a psu not on the recommended list and probably is on the stay away list.
