Guest Retratserif Posted May 24, 2006 Posted May 24, 2006 I will get mine for you too. I am not sure what it is, but I have everything in pieces atm. I have to do a few tests before I RMA my mobo. I have everything outside of the case and will be crafting a mounted for the mobo. So my chip is out of the case but has paste on it. I have a ton of paste so I can clean it to get my stepping. I think I have a high voltage one also. I dont really mind. I would like to get to 3000, 2900 would be awsome, but I am really happy with the 2805 that I got. To bad the mobo gave out. Albo Posted December 12, 2006 Posted December 12, 2006 My stepping is CCBWE. What results have people had with this stepping?

Albo Posted December 12, 2006 Posted December 12, 2006 2700. Is it prime stable?
red930 Posted December 12, 2006 Posted December 12, 2006 Looks like you got a Toledo core with one core disabled if you got a CCBWE... Can you tell us anything else besides the letters? There should be four numbers after the five letters.. read 'em off. That can help us more. Just because someone else gets a good result doesn't mean yours will do the same.. red930 Posted December 12, 2006 Posted December 12, 2006 .... Ccbwe 0550xpmw..... Odd, those ones usually do pretty well I think... at least in the dual core arena. never seen the xpmw there before though..
Albo Posted December 12, 2006 Posted December 12, 2006 I wander if it could be somthing else that's stopping me. It def isn't the bios settings as I've tested and tested. Maybe the version? Does this make a huge difference?
27floyd Posted December 12, 2006 Posted December 12, 2006 yes its prime stable 24+ hours. I can go to 2.8 stable but thats with close to 1.6v and i like to stay under 1.55. 1.515vish right now
Guest RohypnoL Posted December 12, 2006 Posted December 12, 2006 Hate to break it to ya but it looks like you got a bad core and stepping if you've got a Toledo + E6.
eTrustxps Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 yeh I do, but only when it hits 50c and it never goes above 45. frickin annoyed if i can only get 2600. there are some people on this forum who have had 2800 on stock voltages. What type of cooling are you using? Is that air cooled? I will be venturing with my 3700 max soon, when I get chipset cooler.
Albo Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 Yes, air. Using a blue orb. Temps are about 43 on load, 35 idle. I think i might get a proper 3700 san diego, not this damn broken Toledo!
