Albo Posted May 20, 2006 Posted May 20, 2006 I'm trying to find the max speed my cpu will go,and cannot get it to be prime stable past 2600, even on 1.61v. I've lowered everything else so it must be the cpu that's causing Prime to fail. I've read of people getting over 2800 on like 1.5v. what am I foing wrong? Albo Posted May 20, 2006 Posted May 20, 2006 disabled cpc, chipset back to 1.5, still won't have 2650 at 1.45*104% (1.508v) what is tempsoff? also what is the cpu core temp adjust setting in the bios? and why does cpu-z tell me that my cpu voltage is 1.472v? It's just prime that fails after a couple of minutes with that "rounding to 0.4, 0.5 expected..." error. what does this error mean? is it cpu? my mem was only at 200 and it's PC4000.
