It looks like I only see people Talking about the lanParty NF3 250-gb is thare a big difference . And whats Lanparty good for besides land parties does it help with the inter net??? My question is whats the benefit of the 250-GB over the 250-AL.? I have a $200.00 Gift E Card for (AMAZON) That’s going to expire soon. They Got, Which I'm looking at, a DFI NF3 250-AL $70.00 AND a AMD ATHLON-64 3000+ 2.0GHz BUS SPEED 1600 MHz for like $135.00 OR should I go another way all together. I do some gamming A lot of web camming With my family up north. Have Adobe photoshop CS2 9.0, Office 2003, Front page, Visio, one note, MENNY PROGRAMS. A lot of older games ,want to get some newer ones. red930 Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 The Lanparty NF3 250GB is typical of the Lanparty series, it overclocks very well and is actually one of the best boards DFI has produced. If you can find it somewhere I highly recommend it. The 250-AL is its replacement, I think probably just to keep DFI in the Socket 754 screen though I don't know why they'd stop making a known kickass board. Not sure exactly what the difference is, but hopefully Angry_Games will come along as he's probably played with one for a bit. Anyways there's alway Socket 939 to look at if you want, not pushing you that way but just a thought. Grab a Lanparty NF4 Ultra-D and a 3200+ or sometihng. Is this ( DFI NF3 250-AL 754 ATX) board a good one ??? :confused: thanks MIKE ive heard its a very nice board. good for you. dont know about the diference but to me i think the GB will be better. like dan said wait till angry comes. is that the venice core one? there is a skt 754 3000 w/ the venice core, a core only found on the 939 parts, its a godly core compared to other 754 parts for more power though (quote MENNY PROGRAMS) i would pick out a decent 939 part,,, the ultra d is 120 bucks (dont know bout amazon, though) and if you could shell out perhaps 50 bucks extra you could get a better system... since skt 754 doesnt run dual channel mode you will have a bit of a slowdown there just my comments ,wait will angry comes for the full blown post.
