KillerMCB Posted March 15, 2006 Posted March 15, 2006 Hi! This is my first post here, and I just wanna have some answers to some questions. Right now, I am running my system at 290fsb/htt. It is very stable at that state. My problem is, I can't reach 300. My previous board was an AsRock 939-dual sata2, and it flawlessly runs at 300fsb/htt. My problem now with my nf4 ultra infinity, is that whenever I set my fsb/htt to 300, the nvidia raid screen appears at startup, even if raid is disabled, and I don't have a raid setup. Radical_53 Posted March 15, 2006 Posted March 15, 2006 Did you raise voltage on chipset and LDT? Might help you out on that one. I can't get my board to work "correctly" above 310MHz, which normally shouldn't be too much for these kinds of boards (I've seen scores of 350MHz+ more than once). loc.o Posted March 15, 2006 Posted March 15, 2006 For me loosening max async latency and read preamble did help a lot to gain stability over 300 HTT.
KillerMCB Posted March 15, 2006 Posted March 15, 2006 unfortunately, this board has no LDT voltage setting. I increased the chipset voltage too, but still no go. What puzzles me is why does the raid screen show up.
KillerMCB Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 still no go.
KillerMCB Posted March 18, 2006 Posted March 18, 2006 I finally got it!!! The problem was weird though. Whenever the ram divider is set to 133, it happens. I tried using the 133 divider, because I just wanted my ram to run at approx 200mhz. I just stuck to the 150 divider instead just to reach 300fsb/htt.
