caj Posted March 13, 2006 Posted March 13, 2006 It may be a mute point by now, since you may already have your sticks from tankguys. But just in case you dont, I wouldn't worry. Tankguys has a very solid reputation. If you check their reseller ratings at the link below, it is near the top. From my personal experience, their customer service is excellent. http://www.resellerratings.com/seller10197.html Actually, I have been looking at the same sticks for about a month but couldn't find a US distributor. After seeing your post, I bought a pair myself. They are definately not on the DFI recommended list yet, so we are kind of out of luck there. I'm new to the game, so hopefully they will be manageable. Sometimes, you just have to dive into the deep-end. Although similar to the Ballistix, I've read that these use Micron 5B-F chips, as opposed to 5B-D. Only time will tell, if these will or will not be prone to the same issues as the Ballistix. Hopefully not. Below is a link to another DFI-Street thread. http://www.dfi-street.com/forum/showthread.php?t=46385 Post # 3 by Supershanks will link you to some good info and some reviews on this kit. joek71 Posted March 14, 2006 Posted March 14, 2006 I should get them tomorrow, Tankguys are a good web site, I think that any retailer on the net that offers a forum for it products is good, cuase people can always ask before they. hopefully the ram will get to 275-300+
