smids Posted February 28, 2006 Posted February 28, 2006 I cleared for about 10 minutes - in which time I was sweating profusely and banging my head on the wall for breaking my mobo when I had only just got my new X2 4400+. I sat down calmly and reset the CMOS jumper and hey presto, it booted. By POST I mean see anything on the screen - each time I tried to boot, all fans would spin up to full but nothing else would happen, hence no POST (Power-On Self Test). The POST screen being either the DFI LanParty logo or the proper POST screen with detecting IDE etc.
