aiya_au Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 so if he plays games, which graphics card does the game run on? is there any options for him to chose which he wants to run it on?
red930 Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 You set it up just like any dual card system. You'll decide which display is Primary and Secondary. Games will always play in the Primary display. Additionally, you can use the dual-display feature of the cards and setup four displays at once. You can extend your desktop to all four displays and arrange them in many different configurations. Really fun stuff to play with. rysjimmy1994 Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 So... Im kinda retarded at this whole thing here. I need to move the jumpers the SLI on the board, then it will know to use both cards?
red930 Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 Moving the jumpers will configure the board to use X8 lanes of bandwidth for each of the X16 slots. If you don't move the jumpers the top slot is configured to use X16 lanes of bandwidth and the bottom X2 lanes of bandwidth. If you put the lesser card in the bottom slot you might not notice a lot of speed difference between X2 and X8 bandwidth. rysjimmy1994 Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 Thanks again. Well for now I took the AIW X600 Out and moved the jumpers back because soemething isnt right... When I boot, the Lanparty Logo is really discolored now. Might have something to do with me getting to excited about getting my new card and not uninstalling the old card first.
