red930 Posted February 8, 2006 Posted February 8, 2006 The opteron CAN be a good overclocker, some are no better than X2's. The 1MB cache isn't all that big of a deal. If you have some money though, go for it, sell that 3800 for whatever you can (240ish maybe?) and cover the difference for a 165 or something.
