Help O/C'ing

Hey guys, I've been reading tons of overclocking articles/guides and they all just seem very confusing to me. I just got my new computer put together today and I wanna overclock it to maybe 2.6-2.8. My specs are in my sig. I am using stock heatsink and graphic card fan. I want to know if there is anyone who would be willing to step by step me through overclocking or just guide me thanks.
