Booted - XP failed, Did BIOS Update, Now wont boot.

Recommended Posts

By holding the insert key down, I didn't hit the Del key in time; and now it is running Memtest on 1.55 v's. Should I reset it all, and do this again at 1.8? Also, I was reading about the dim slots to use. I have mine in the yellow slots. Should I move them to the orange?

Odd.

I set the memory volts to 1.8, and moved the DIM's to the orange slot. Powered it on (no insert), and went straight into Memtest.

ACK! DOh! the V1.55" is the version right? HAHAH.

I was thinking it was the volts. Well, as of right now, it booted straight up!!!

One other thing.. On the memtest screen it says:

CAS: 3-4-4-7 / Dual Channel (128 Bits)

I thought it was 3-4-4-8? Because the volts are at 1.8 is it now lower on the last timing? The other odd thing, is it is showing DDR401 @ 200mhz.
