Maarek_Stele Posted October 14, 2005 Posted October 14, 2005 Well, just reporting that at least with 9/14/04 and 05/04/05 if I have cpu VID on auto, it will boot at 1.5v as it should. Then, if I change to 1.55v or 1.45 (or any other) it will boot with correct setting, but if I go to bios and set again to auto, it will boot with previous manual cpu VID instead of 1.5v. But at least with, latest official bios, then after a cold boot it will return to default. The only problem is that if something very low as 1.2v + high special to get a certain value is applied, if a user returns to "auto" most probably the computer won't boot.
