Borisw37 Posted July 30, 2003 Posted July 30, 2003 I have a 190mmX160mm radiator, and i am looking for a best combination of fans. I need to maximize airflow but minimize the noise. The possible solutions are: 1) 1x120mm fan blowing into the radiator. 2) 2X120mm fans one blowing another one sucking out on the other side 3) 2X92mm fans on one side, sitting next to each other, they will fit since 190mm>92mm*2=184mm 4) 4x92mm fans 2 on one side blowing and 2 on the other side sucking air out. and the following fans are available 120mm: --------------------------- 53.0CFM/28.0dBA 64.0CFM/32.31 dBA 69.0CFM/39.0dBA 79.1CFM/30.0dBA 98CFM/43 dBA 105.0CFM/45.0dBA 125.5CFM/45.0dBA -------------------------- 92mm: ------------------------- CFM/dBA 44.5/32.1 53/36 66/40 28/20 48/34 ------------------------ This radiator is going to sit outside the case so there is no noise dampering, its in a small room where i sleep, so its important for it to be quiet... What do you think would be the best setup...?
