pkilway Posted August 30, 2005 Posted August 30, 2005 I just ran into this problem myself a few weeks ago. It's impossible. You will loose all the data on your working hard drive, so back it up - burn to CD/DVD, or copy it to an auxiliary hard drive (the reason I still have my PATA hard drive). Then you'll need to reinstall Windows after setting up the RAID 0 in the BIOS. Here is Angry's RAID tutorial (GREAT step by step instructions) for the LANPARY SLI. red930 Posted August 30, 2005 Posted August 30, 2005 Most likely not, since when you create the array it will wipe what is on the disk b/c it writes a new MFT. You could possibly clone the disk to a secondary, then clone it back after you create the array, but this assumes you have an extra drive laying around. FuzzyDice Posted August 30, 2005 Posted August 30, 2005 What about just adding storage in Raid 1 or 5?
