Sharp Posted August 28, 2005 Posted August 28, 2005 Hello, There is no such thing as BIOS 6.00 Look again and the BIOS screen when it detects the IDE drives. Bottom left of the screen, you will see a date eg, 03/10/05. For dual channel mode, you can use the orange slots or the yellow slots. But to use both yellow slots, you must flash to BIOS 623-3. (Do you know how to flash the BIOS?/ Have you already flashed the BIOS?) In the BIOS go to Genie settings >DRAM configuration Then press F7 >Y Then change the following, GENIE BIOS Setting >DRAM Configuration DRAM Frequency Set (MHZ).............200 (DRAM/FSB:1/01) Command per clock (CPC)..............Enabled Cas latency (tCL)....................2 RAS to CAS delay (tRCD)..............2 Min RAS active time (tRAS)...........5 Row precharge time (tRP).............2 Row cycle time (tRC).................Leave at F7 value Row refresh cycle time(tRFC).........Leave at F7 value Row to Row delay (tRRD)..............Leave at F7 value Write recovery time (tWR)............Leave at F7 value Write to read delay (tWTR)...........Leave at F7 value Read to write delay (tRWT)...........Leave at F7 value Refresh period (tREF)................Leave at F7 value Write CAS latency (tWCL).............Leave at F7 value DRAM Bank Interleave.................Enabled DQS Skew Control.....................Leave at F7 value DQS Skew Value.......................Leave at F7 value DRAM Drive Strength..................Leave at F7 value DRAM Data Drive Strength.............Leave at F7 value Max Async Latency....................Leave at F7 value Dram Response........................Leave at F7 value Read Preamble Time...................Leave at F7 value Idle Cycle Limit.....................Leave at F7 value Dynamic Counter......................Leave at F7 value R/W Queue Bypass.....................Leave at F7 value Bypass Max...........................Leave at F7 value 32 Byte Granularity..................Leave at F7 value
