  1. I'm hoping someone can help me. I am trying to install a Hauppauge HVR-1800 PCIe x1 tuner card into my computer which is running Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit. I guess the OS doesn't really matter yet since I'm not even getting that far. The problem is, when I install the card and boot up, it isn't posting in bios and it just dies. I contacted Hauppauge and lets just say they weren't very helpful. I updated the BIOS for my DFI Lanparty UT CFX3200-DR to the most current version posted on their website and no luck. Hauppauge said if that didn't help it was probably a bad card so I sent it back only to find the replacement had the same problem. Does anyone know if there is a BIOS setting I can change to make it work? I restored all BIOS settings back to default. Could the PCIE x16 video card be conflicting with the PCIE x1 tuner? I doubt it since I removed the video card with the tuner card still installed and it still didn't post. Any suggestions before I give up and try a PCI Tuner card? Any help would be much appreciated.
