Sporadic POST issue, 2 led error

2.8v didn't resolve the issue, I'm still receiving a 2 led error sometimes. Running out of options, might need to try a new PSU or VGA card. -
Sporadic POST issue, 2 led error

I'll try that Sharp, will report back. -
I have been having a sporadic issue that I cannot seem to diagnose. From a cold boot or even a restart, my system will sometimes fail POST with a 2 led error on the motherboard. I don't have a different VGA card to test with at the moment but for what it's worth, when the system boots up and works, I get no errors or crashes, and can game for hours on end without any problem. Just something happens, sometimes, during POST and it won't detect the VGA card. Any ideas?

Frustrating hard lock issue with 3DMark
rottendumpling replied to rottendumpling's topic in Overclocking and Cooling
Load temps are around the mid 60s. Funny you ask, I was just looking on Newegg for a replacement cooler for my 6800 GS. The stock one is a bit too loud for my taste. -

270, 3x, 1.5v (tried 1.6v and 1.7v), 1.2v, 100MHz. -
As loggan26 suggested earlier, see if the problem occurs without the X-Fi.

Frustrating hard lock issue with 3DMark

Yep, swapped it out for a 6600 GT I have laying around. Same issue. Adjusting the secondary ram timings have fixed my initial hard lock issue with 3DMark. Now it only occurs when I dual prime and loop 3DMark at the same time but as Capt Proton has said, it may be overkill. -

These Mushkin's are UCCC and I've tried most of the settings off of OCDB. I guess I shouldn't fret too much over it. -

In the two posts you made you've provided nothing helpful aside from making snide remarks regarding my location. If you're not going to contribute in a positive way, leave the thread. -
Frustrating hard lock issue with 3DMark

Nearly 36 hrs of looking for the elusive needle in a haystack... So, my computer has graduated from 3DMark hard locking during solo runs. Now it can solo run all day long without any problems and the other gamut of stress testing have also passed. The only time I can replicate a hard lock is when I run 3DMark in conjunction with dual Prime95. What else can I possibly tweak to trouble shoot this? A positive side effect of all this is that I've manage to get core volts from 1.568 down to 1.55 - not much but every bit counts! -
Help me OC 2X1GB PATRIOT DDR500 PDC2G4000ELK UCCC

The UCCC's I've used have always behaved better in the orange slots so you should be good there. -

Have you tried any other DRAM Drive Strength and DRAM Data Drive Strength settings other than 4 and AUTO, respectively? If not, try 7 for the former and 3 for the latter. TREF on AUTO and DQS on AUTO. VDIMM at flat 2.5 for now, UCCC tends to favor lower voltage. -

Hm, seems like solo looping 3DMark has been pretty stable. Now the hard lock happens when I dual prime and loop 3DMark at the same time. Not sure if these two don't play nice but I'll continue looking into it... Oh and Flybye, I tried reinstalling but the computer Gods will not let me off easy it seems.
