i5 even at its lower price point then the i7 still out performs anything AMD offers including the X6 for roughly the same price. i5-2500k 224.99 and the X6 is what 222.99? I'm not trying ot hate on AMD but for about the same price i'd take a i5 2500k system anyday over any X6 . for $100 more I can have an i7. AMD Video Cards on the otherhand iz the buisness!

I have a cheaper suggestion, cut out a vent on the side of your case directly centered on the video card and install a 120MM fan. Feeling like modding today?

Looking for 4GHz stable on air, if I achieve that without much hassle ill be looking for more.

You have a good point with fewer ram sticks ill look at some 8GB kits, it would also allow more room for the V6GT even tho it is large but its a sweet cooler!

Well its 865PE but does have 4 SATA jacks. As for the GFX dept. X850 really wouldnt do it because it lacks PS 3.0, though its performance is outstanding. I agree i just dont think 4 sticks of memory is very efficent. But all the 2GB kits I've seen have horrible timings. Anyways thanks for your help, more comments are wanted.

Well im selling my OCZ PC3700 Gold Rev2.. I have two pairs both matched of course.. There only about 4 months used not overclocked at all even with the 1.8A at 3Ghz.. I dont know the full power of this memory but its a good deal.. Im asking $135 for each set Shipped.. Pair 1- 256MB x 2 (512MB) Pair 2- 256MB x 2 (512MB) Ill post some pictures as soon as i can.. Reason for selling.. Socket 754 boards only have 3 DIMM slots.. Gonna try and buy me some Ballistx if i sell these. Runs sweet timings too..!

Yah but Intel is in a slouch right now they cant even out perform a Sckt 754 with a 3400+... It was all about GHZ for them and nows its com back and bit them in the @$$..
