Guest_Jim_* Posted March 19, 2018 Posted March 19, 2018 It was back in January when Epic announced it would be shutting down Paragon, an action MOBA the developer built in Unreal Engine 4 that will be gone come April 26. While it might not be possible to get a game going after that date, you may see some of its characters and other parts after this date. Epic has released Paragon assets to the Unreal Engine Marketplace, and though the assets are worth a total of $12 million dollars, they will be free to use in UE4 projects, "no strings attached." This release includes assets for 20 characters, Monolith and Agora environment assets, and announcer audio. If you are using UE4 for your project, are considering using it, there will be a livestream on March 29 at 11AM PT / 2PM ET on how to set up animation Blueprints for Paragon characters at the Twitch.tv/unrealengine channel. Also, you can expect more Paragon Asset packs to be released through the Summer. Source: Epic Back to original news post
