Guest_Jim_* Posted November 24, 2017 Posted November 24, 2017 For RAM, frequency is an important measure of performance, but so is latency and G.SKILL has announced Trident Z RGB kits offering both. These new DDR4 kits all sport 4000+ MHz frequency with CL Timings of 17-18-18-38 or tighter at 17-17-17-37. The fastest of these is a 8 GB x4 kit with a frequency of 4266 MHz and the 17-18-18-38 timings, and it runs at 1.45 V. The two slower kits have the same 17-17-17-37 timings and are available in 8 GB x 4 and 8 GB x 2 packages. These two kits only differ in frequency and voltage, with the 4133 MHz kit needing 1.4 V and the 4000 MHz kit needing 1.35 V. Naturally all of these kits utilize XMP 2.0 for easy overclocking. If you need high frequency and tight-timings for your RAM, these kits will be available from G.SKILL distributors and dealers in January 2018.
