CheeseMan42 Posted February 23, 2017 Posted February 23, 2017 A series of benchmarks from Ashes of the Singularity for the upcoming AMD Radeon RX 580 paired with an eight core Intel i7 5820k running at 3.3GHz have leaked. In a single card configuration running the 1080p version of the benchmark, the RX 580 managed to hit 72.3 fps. This marks a significant improvement over the card it will be replacing, the RX 480, and puts in on par with the GeForce GTX 1070. In another test, an engineering sample of the upcoming eight core Ryzen CPU was paired with two RX 580 in CrossFire in the 4K resolution test, and the Ryzen managed to hold its own against its Intel counterpart with an average frame rate of 82.5 fps. These numbers are a great sign for users looking to get high end performance while minimizin the damage to their wallets. The RX 560 was also tested in the 1080p benchmark, where it managed an average of 34.3 fps.
