Guest_Jim_* Posted October 27, 2016 Posted October 27, 2016 Earlier this year, Stardock released the game Offworld Trading Company, which offers an interesting twist on the RTS genre as victory is achieved not through war but out-competing rival companies. Today, almost six months to the day after the game released, its DLC The Patron and the Patriot has launched. This DLC adds a number of things to the base game, including colony classes, new campaign content and characters, along with six new stories about life on a newly colonized Mars, told by taking the new characters through the campaign. With the new colony class system, each colony can be made to specialize in one area of the world's economy. The campaign tournament can now be set to last 4, 7, or 10 games, and those different lengths come with balance tweaks and other subtleties. Instead of requires you to build habitats and work modules, now colonies can ask for wholesale goods instead, in the Wholesale Orders game mode. The Patron and the Patriot DLC is just $4.99.
