Freemake video converter malware?

I haven't used it for actual editing for awhile, but for just finding the times I want to cut videos, which I put into FFmpeg commands. That's probably more work than most people are willing to do though.

Still, it is pretty handy since it can open a good number of containers and codecs. It used to be able to take advantage of CUDA video acceleration but NVIDIA pulled that. For a basic video editor and converter, it is pretty good. I wouldn't exactly call it feature rich, but being able to open so many different files is a significant plus, if you do not know what you will be working with or if what you are using is not terribly common. (I mostly work with FLVs and it plays fine with them, but not everything else does.)
