ClayMeow Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 Runic Games' action-RPG Torchlight was a surprise hit when it launched back in 2009, and its highly anticipated 2012 sequel, Torchlight II, met with similar acclaim and success. Now Perfect World has announced that it's bringing the beloved indie series to mobile devices, with the easy-to-remember name of Torchlight Mobile. Set to release later this year for iOS and Android, Torchlight Mobile "takes place in another faraway land where Ember is still being harvested by powerful civilizations." While details are sparse, the press release does mention that players will be able to choose from among "three new character classes." An early alpha version will be running on mobile devices at E3 2015, but only behind closed doors. Hopefully Perfect World will be releasing a video though.
