Ive been out of town, but now that im back, reading all of these replies, i wish i couldve read them sooner. before i left i attempted cranking the voltage. i failed to realize that my psu just couldnt hack it. plumes of smoke. so i also ordered a 480w thermaltake psu (currently running like a champ) before i left. i get back and the psu has arrived, so i pop it in and swap the processor with a different 2500+ i have lying around, and it boots up perfectly at 200x11.0 @1.65v. i guess it was just the unlucky processor all along. my memory is fine, but i will definitely try changing DIMM slots and change to Halt On: no errors as suggested by wanksta (i was wondering about that). ill continue to fool around with a few other things, maybe get a replacement for this stock amd hs&fan. thanks will and everyone else.
