John_again Posted April 6, 2012 Posted April 6, 2012 I also tried reducing the voltage to 1.464V as CPU-Z says, but then i run prime95 but the 1st worker stopped as soon as i started the test! The PC Though stayed awake... No blue screen!
ARandomOWL Posted April 6, 2012 Posted April 6, 2012 Your northbridge voltage is way too high for the FSB and RAM speed you are running. It shouldn't need to be anything above 1.3V. Also I doubt your VTT (FSB termination) need be that high. Did you test it or just set an arbitrary value?
Waco Posted April 6, 2012 Posted April 6, 2012 Yeah that does seem quite high on the NB.
John_again Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 I tested it! But it wont boot if i wont set these voltages so high! Now i only managed to get the vcore at 1.5V, and it seems stable! at least my temps are not so high! Wont go higher than 58C...
