yes of course. the solution is for people to have guns. (as if we lived in an infantile dream world where the military of the United States could be overthrown by people with hunting rifles) Everyone who knows what's right should have a gun and shoot those who don't. Perfect solution. what could possible go wrong with that? Screw democracy. Might is right.

I don't count on the media for much news about anything. But such a ignorantly one-sided joke is not funny. Maybe to five-year-olds. The member of the media obviously did not work for Fox News.

I have a 2500K and feel no need to upgrade. Pissed off with Intel and their heat issues. Ivy bridge was more power efficient, but they changed the thermal material for no reason I can tell except to make overclocking harder. The benefit was minimal, and is so again with haswell. I've come to realize this is a mobile chip they have shoehorned into a destop package. It gets even hotter when overclocked and of course intel didn't fix the thermal material. This is the kind of thing that has me look at AMD again.

I want to see pictures! I posted my Corsair 1500 last year, so I want to see what the winners got this year. Always good to see pics of new hardware. -

I guess no win for me this year. But lots of good prizes there and hope the winners got something they like and will use, like I did last year. Thanks again for putting on the great contest. Merry Christmas to all. -

I'm in. Thanks very much for the coolest contest around. -
I need some good suggestions on this build.
PopcornMachine replied to TechPhoenix's topic in System Builds
That 6870 is around $200. For that amount you can step up to a 7850. More bang for the buck. I think HIS makes a nice quiet one. Also might want to look at other cases. Don't know about availability, but the new Corsair 200R looks like a better case in that price range. -
Nevemind. I now see you've already decided. Those are good choices.

I think 850 is plenty for 2 card setups. You may not need a new PSU.

My main rig uses a HX650. NIce little PSU with modular cables and so far plenty of power.

Sapphire HD 7870 FleX Dual-X 2GB Review
PopcornMachine replied to bp9801's topic in OCC News & Announcements
Thanks for the review. Always interested in how these flex cards work. But, while it looks like a good 7870 card, the flex capability seems kind of pointless on it as it doesn't really produce playable frame rates. Better to have this feature on a 7950 or just get a GTX670. More money, but if you really want multi-monitor gaming, that's what you've got to do. -
It seems to me that they've incorporated a lot of the good stuff from both previous games. There is still a lot of character interaction if you want, and the weapon modifications of the first, for example. Seems it will be a long game, and that is fine with me. And I'm enjoying the multiplayer co-op as well.

Can a GTX 275 Handle a 42" HDTV ?!

Waco was being sarcastic, or should I say pulling your leg. -

Can't tell if you're being serious or not. In short, screen size means nothing. Resolution is the only important thing. And just about any graphics card made in the last few years can handle 1080p, so your gtx 275 should be fine.
