'presets'? There's something called 'Dynamic Overclocking' I've seen disabled in the bios. But what do you mean by not having to 'do it manually'?

Thanks B, Im not too concerned about noise, what with that thermaltake's 7 fans I'll check out those coolers you listed. Would you advise on getting a better PSU too?

I would rather blame M$, they're the ones gaining extra revenue from peeps upgrading to Pro...after all, you can now get procs as low as 2.4 with HT, so why hasn't M$ sorted out Home Edition?

All hooked up, and no light, even with a disk inserted. So it's either solid light, or no light and no reading at all.Running out of ways to plug a cable in here...

So when the light is off, and the fdd still doesn't read a disk, it means I only got one end of the cable wrongly inserted?

I just used CPU-Z, and it reports the voltage as around 1.9 mark, and yet Core Center and BIOS says its at 1.52...what's with the CPU-Z reading?

So I should be fine with my current rig to reach 3.2? More than enough air cooling I would have thought. I guess I could do with faster RAM...pc3500?

How do you monitor your '12v rail'?

The green LED is solid. I can see the drive in 'My Computer' but, on inserting a floppy, nothing happens. Any ideas please?
