  1. Thanks buddy. You`ve been a great help. Have a goodnight!!
  2. Yeah I knew that, that`s one of the other reasons I want to upgrade too. but I`ve read everywhere that the performance gains from DDR2 to DDR3 is minimal.
  3. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130236&cm_re=am3_sli-_-13-130-236-_-Product Too bad it's not a USB 3.0 though
  4. That was fast. Thanks!!! +1 for you. do you think that this is an overall good motherboard?
  5. Thank you for your reply. Can you please provide me a link to that motherboard?
  6. Hi, I'm a bit confused on finding the right motherboard. See, I have AMD 955 Black edition CPU witch is an AM3 CPU, and I'm using in on an Asus M4A78-EM Motherboard witch is AM2+ motherboard. I just got a EVGA gtx 570, and I want to be able to do future SLI. So witch motherboard can I use my 955 CPU witch is Socket AM3 and be able to SLI two gtx 570s? My budget is between $100 to $220. I would like to have DDR3, and USB 3.0 for features if possible. And I would like to get it from this Website: http://www.canadacomputers.com/index.php?cPath=26 becasue I have a $100 credit. Thank you for all your help.
  7. Hi there, I just installed an Intel x25-m 80Gig and everything seems to be fine, but I can't copy over my backups from my external hard drive to my SSD. I used Windows 7 backup before I formatted my hard drive, and every time I choose a folder to restore I get the following error: Error short names are not enabled on this volume (0x88070131). I can move files individually but not forlders, but this process can take forever. I have no idea on what to do, I have alot of movies, pics and documents that I want to transfer. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you.
  8. Thanks for the fast reply. I don't think it's a heat issue, I manually set the fan speed in MSI afterburner to 50%, and my GPU doens't go above 70 C when I stress test.
  9. Hi guys, I've been trying to overclock my HIS 5850 and I managed to get it stable running at 890/1250 @ stock voltage using 3D Mark Vantage and Unigine Heaven benchmark. I run both programs successfully a couple of times with no issue at all, I even played Metro 2033 on the highest setting getting around 30 FPS. But as soon I run MSI Kombustor to stress test, using my overclock 890/1250 it freezes within 2 minutes and I get a blue or black screen than I would have to restart my computer manually. So my question is, does this mean I don't have a stable overclock??? why would it run fine in game, 3D Mark Vantage and the heaven benchmark with no problem at all?? Thanks for your help.
