  1. ya i will i was just tryingto get as much monitoring going as possible. on a brighter note....RESOLVED thanks for your help guys it probably would have taken me weeks to catch that mistake after further testing today the issues plauging me before are all gone but i do have one question... anyone know why some games are capping me at a certain FPS (WoW most notably but thats due to a lack of duel core support and is to be resolved in a future patch) theres a couple games that are doing it to me even if im forcing Vsync off?
  2. ok well through some fault of my own my multi was set to 5x... now i dont remeber doing that but hey you never know clock speed now showing 2238.5mhz t hanks whoever suggested the multi will continue to test while i still have extra time will post results here thanks again guys
  3. no by default the CnQ feature was disabled in bios( thanks DFI first time for everything eh) i have been putting under load for the last 3-4 days with throttlewatch open core clock never changed always 1ghz i am restarting to change the multi now
  4. CPU-Z STATS as per request AMD athalon 64 X2 4200+ manchester socket 939 core 1000.5mhz multi X5 )
  5. wow i love this forum you guys are fast i will list all the requested settings in a few hours thanks for the quick response
  6. i have already installed the dual core optimizer but thanks for the suggestion however... i have noticed that i get the same FPS cap with SLI disabled and that the temp on the primary card get to what was normal operating temps (65-75c) that way which leads me to believe to things a. with sli the cards are sharing the load hence lower temps b.my duel core doesnt like me *EDIT* cpu-z reads 1ghz core clock thats normal right....so 1gh x2....right....then where do they get that 2.2ghz from?
  7. hey all im having strange issues wondering if any of u guys can shed some light on it first off im seeing strange performance issues in games. this is all on a fresh build fresh copy of windows everything. where i used to see 100+ fps im seeing less then half in most cases. i went from 3800+(not x2) and 1 7800GT to my current build(in sig) and an Abit board. now i wasnt on the OCZgameXstream 700w PSU for my initial testing phase(it just got here today) so if anything changes ill let yall know but my early tests arent showing much improvement. now before with the 1 7800gt my gpu temps would get around 65-75 degrees c during normal operation but now neither gpu is getting above 57ish and the secondary isnt breaking 50c... this leads me to believe something isnt functioning properly and the cards arent seeing normal load... but im not sure since i have yet to find a program that will show GPU load...anyone have any suggestions? another thing ive noticed is the load for my CPU has gone down about 20% now i think thats just cause theres now 2 cores sharing the load but... another thing ive noticed is my standby LED stay on all the time...should it be? thats about it for now if i remeber anything else ill edit this post. i will try to keep this update as much as possible and thanks to all in advance for your help
