  1. Hello all. I've run into a nasty snag. My rig will no longer pass the DFI logo screen at power up. This problem occured after trying to reset the BIOS. At first I would get the normal post screen (processor type, RAM, drives, etc.) At the bottom of the screen was the message, 'CMOS checksum error - Defaults loaded; Warning! Now system is in safe mode; Please re-setting CPU Frequency in the CMOS setup'. When I would press DEL to enter the setup screen, the computer would continue to the RAID setup promt, then it would black screen and hang up. I then followed the long CMOS reset tutorial which has yeilded the latest result which is freezing on the logo screen. I've removed all USB devices, and the diagnostic LEDs clear down to the last one on the far left (VGA detected). Any and all help you can give in this matter would be greatly appreciated. ** note: this is not a new installation, rig has been operational for about a year now.
  2. About 600 Mb/s read, 150 Mb/s write, and 10 n/s latency.
  3. I've just completed my first computer build and I have a question. When I first got Windows up and running, I installed the pre-packaged chipset(nF4) drivers along with the rest of the hardware drivers for the system, ran some benchmarks (everest, 3DMark 05, PCMark 05, etc.), and logged results. I was quite pleased to say the least. DFI has put out one hell of a product. Once I was satisfied that everything was working properly, I decided to update my Nvidia drivers, both gfx card and chipset. Once these were installed using prescribed methods (ie. uninstallation of the old and running of Driver Cleaner Pro), I re-ran my initial benchmarks to check performance of the new drivers. To my shagrin  , I found the memory r/w bandwidth had decreased followed by an increase in memory latency. My question is this. Has anyone experienced issues with the newer versions of Nvidia drivers? If so, could you advise the best method of returning to the original chipset drivers that would be affecting these results. Thx in advance.
