  1. hallo i installed my new gskill ram 2gbzx... i changed nothing with the system except the ram butnow my floppy isnt recognized any more.... do you have any ideas??? thats sooo strange... i mean a floppy is not that important but sometimes i need it... greets
  2. hallo i have just a silly question: what are the correct settings in the bios for a winchester 3200 amd cpu ? i dont overclock! especially i mean the vcore... is it 1.4 V ??? i am not sure... cos i dont want to give too much
  3. thats a nice guide the only thing i liked to say is that the crucial ballistix 3200 needs 2,8 V and not 2,6 V! i didnt get them running with 2,6 V! but doesnt matter i have gskill 2gbzx now greetz
  4. i would like to buy the G.Skill F1-3200PHU2-2GBZX or F1-3200BIU2-2GBHX 2x1gb modules ..... has anyone them tested on a dfi lanparty nf4 ultra-d? whats the differences between both? thanks
  5. i also thought about the gskill hz ddr500 but what are the cas latencys for ddr400 ?
  6. well after my crucial ballistix gone bad the second time and i had to rma them i decide to buy new ram now. i would like to have a 2x1gb kit which one would you recommend? i think about DIMM 2 GB DDR-400 Kit Platinum EL from OCZ which modules are good too? i read something about gskill they have the same price like ocz but are ddr-500. well i would like to run the modules at cas2 with ddr400 i dont like to overclock thanks
  7. well rma again... crucial sux ... i think i will buy ocz i dunno.. which ones are good? i will look for some info in the forums thanks
  8. well i have already post above that it works now.... thanks whats strange i think is after i haved flashed i cant boot i HAVE TO do a clear cmos... is this normal? i thought it isnt necesary
  9. i set everything to auto and even had vdimm to 2,8 with the one i got no errors when i use the other one memtest shows errors
  10. why do you guys think my psu is not enough? well if it WAS no enough how would i recognize it? cos my computer has been working correctly for a year now... (now i doesnt cos memtest shows errors. it seems one memory module is broken ;-( ) thanks for ya help
  11. i did it like this way: flashed the bios and did afterwards a cmos clear... now it works... is this ok? @hitandrun: just red the proper clear CMOS recovery!!! .......so whats the difference between a "normal" clear cmos and this one above? so what would you recommend to me to flash my bios correctly to tonys version?
  12. haha just tried them seperatly : one module works great and with the other one i get errors in memtest thats strange... it seems one module became defect after one year having no problems... i havent overclocked @hitandrun: what did you mean??? i havent understood you. my english is quite bad
