  1. It's a fresh install and the reason I don't have a bios version in my sig is because I'm expermenting to find one that works for me, so far i've tried 6/23,7/02, and 7/04 none of them fix my problems. Is their a dos based program I can boot into that will test my cpu? Sort of a cpu equvilent to memtest, I'm trying to rule out the possible causes of this problem.
  2. Putting aside the rma of my ram for a moment I'm starting to think something is wrong with my x2. It crashs everytime I try to utilize both cores. Am I doing something wrong or is it the chip?
  3. I've tested both sticks, one of them was giving me memtest errors so I'm going to rma it. The other stick doesn't give any errors and when I test with only it in I still get errors so I don't think it's the memory that's doing this to me.
  4. Well I was trying to run two instances of superpi, everytime I do this one of them crashes within a split second. I've also set each instance of superpi to use a different core.
  5. My cpu is acting weird, when at full load each invidual core runs fine. But when both are being stressed stuffs starts to crash. This happens if I'm running stock or if I overclock. I've already played with the voltages and that doesn't seem to help anything. Is their a specfic bios needed to make this thing work? I'm running 7/04 right now.
  6. I tried the 6/23 bios for awhile, I've been testing the 7/04 recently
  7. Ok well somewhere along the lines one of my sticks crapped out on me, so I've gone on and filled an rma on that. But now I have anotheir problem, whenever I try to stress both cores on my x2 using superpi for example the program crashes. Indepently both cores can run this test fine but when they both run full throttle I crash, playing with the voltages doesn't seem to help much either. Has anyone else experinced a problem like this?
  8. For some reason my ram keeps failing memtest as stock complete stock levels. I've been using the ram in an msi board for over a month now so I know it's good. Is their some sort of trick needed to make ballstix ram work on a nf4 ultra-d?
