what is getin the axe? u mean all 2 x 1mb cpus r pimping and all 512kb cpus are crapping? and can you answer my main qusetion...which is beter x2 4800 or opteron.

ok after the price drop i think x2 4800 is gona be a bit cheaper than the opteron 165 or 170. if not the same? opterons in US r prety dam cheap. especialy if ur going to queerbay to buy one. anyways.. x2 4800 is a 2 x 1mb cache thing..2.4ghz right. i can probably oc it to 3ghz..probaby what im going to get with an opteron 170 super good steping. btw im on air cooling. whats the performance difference betwen x2 and opteron?
