  1. Thank you everybody for answering me. I wanted to buy these mems: 2Gb Mushkin XP4000 eXtreme Performance Dual Channel kit (991483) or 2Gb G.Skill HZ Series DDR PC4000 (DDR500) 3-4-4-8 Dual Channel kit (F1-4000USU2-2GBHZ) to try a Manchester 3800 overclock. Would these memories be good to reach some high clock frequencies?Which one would be better? Thank you again
  2. Reading the forum I've learned that overclocking Athlon X2 cpu is relatively easy if you have 1 gb of good ram. My question is, for everyone that can help me, is it that easy if you have 2*1gb Ram? I know it's difficult, if not impossible if you have 4x512 ram, but I'm confused about the 2x1gb stick of ram. anyone could help me? thank you
  3. Thanks everyone for helping me , I've run Prime95 for 2,5 hours and the PC didnt hang once. Without your help I wouldnt have made it, so thank you very much guys I'll be around more looking for advice on some good overclocking once I have everything installed and running stable :tooth:
  4. I followed the instruction of RGone that someone (thanks! ) linked and after doing that I was able (for the first time) to install WoW. I raised the Vcore and Dram voltage as suggested in that post. I had all the values on Auto and standard. Now it seems, keyword being seems, more stable. I'm going to run a few tests to see if it crashes again. Thanks everyone for your help. I'll post some results after the tests in a few hours
  5. Changed the PSU but still it crashes radomly so I guess it wasnt because of the PSU. I really dont know what to do
  6. http://www.coolermaster-europe.com/index.p...T01CM%20Stacker This is my case, with all the fan and cross flow fan installed. Cpu Temp is 35-37° C . So I dont think it's a temp and flow issue. I'm waiting for the PSU which should arrive today or tomorrow.
  7. Running Prime95 gave me an error after 53 minutes of torture test. What does it means? In the readme it says it could be a PSU again.
  8. I just finished runnin memtest for 1 hour, 3 successfull passes with no errors at all. I'll run Prime 95 now. So I guess it's not a Ram problem?
  9. I've tried everything, enabling and disabling nVidia Firewall, installing and uninstalling IDE drivers and anything worked I didnt try memtest I'll do it now just to be sure. As I'll check the DVD firmawares. I have the lastest nVidia Video Drivers. I thought it was a Driver thing as well at first, but after trying lots and lots of permutaions (firewall/no firewall- ide/no ide . 6.66 and 6.53 - nVida Network/Marvel oone - fresh install on Sata/Fresh install on IDE and so on I dont really know what could be wrong) But the crashes are just so random, and now I've seen them happening when I was just surfing the web too. I've ordered the PSU, so at least I'll be safe with that.
  10. Thank you very much, I'll let you know in a couple of days when it'll arrive.
  11. I'm from italy and I could just find the one I linked hehe I'll get the one I linked if you tell me it's ok. Yes yours is cheaper but couldnt find it hehe, so I'll spend a bit more, I just need to know if it'll be ok
  12. Thank you for your help, I guess I'll have to change the PSU then I can buy this one http://reviews.pimprig.com/power_supply/en..._eg701ax-ve.php Will this be ok?
  13. http://www.nexustek.nl/nx4000.htm It hung again now, without doing more than surfing the net :/ I tried the pc with a 500w psu and hung anyway. Could be just a PSU problem?
  14. I havent overcloked the system, I havent touched any Bios setting, everything is set as out of box. I own a Matrox 120gb sata and 2 Western Digital 80gb IDE. I tried installing Windows on both, Sata and IDE. I have the same results: pc hangs both on Sata Drive and IDE drive Thanks everyone for replying so quickly
  15. I tried 3dmark2005 yestrerday and it worked. I tried it twice today and computer crashed twice
