  1. Tmod, Just got your bios chip and it is working great. My computer is up and running after the original bios is corrupted. Thanks for the great product and the swift service.
  2. Yup, I have tried all of those except the "insert key" one. I would try it later on. New bios chip is coming in about 3-4 days so I hope that will fix the issue. I guess it is time to order bios savior
  3. Hi, I bought some new RAM this week (shown in sig) and trying the 'uwackme' burn-in method. I can run the ram at 2-2-2-7 CPC off @ 215 (memtest shows no error for a 1hr run, still need to do prime95 etc. for more testing). Anyway, trying to tweak other timing for the ram and now the comp won't POST. The first time I can get away with a CMOS clear. I tried to adjust timing again and the 2nd time CMOS clear doesn't work. When comp is power on the power light won't go on. Only the 2 red lights (dimm and standby) come on. HD light blink for a short while. Screen shows nothing as well. So I tried cmos clear for 30mins to 1hr, still no go. Tried the FSB100 jumper, nothing. I don't have any low speed ram (well PC133, but it won't fit of course so that's how far I got so far. Right now I am hoping an overnight cmos clear would help, but I kinda doubt it. I am suspecting that the BIOS is corrupted somehow. If that's the case then I have to get it reflash or get a new chip. What do you guys think?
