hey guys and gals my board doesnt detect my sata hard drive anymore. happened after a sudden reboot whlie scanning my windows registry. i recently overclocked and it seemed stable. hope its not the cause of this. :S imo its either the boards sata interface or the drive itself that is blown. im currently running ubuntu live (does the trick). any ideas/suggestions/favourite recipes^ thanks all, ciao! :drool:

thanks guys, system is working great! gonna OC my vid card, mem, and my proc when i get back from easter weekend! dfi and my amd64 rules!!! i'm soooo happy!

wow read up alot now and it doesn't seem all too hard afterall... i'm scared to touch my vcore and vdimm though... once i get my video card i'm gonna get this rig running real nice can i increase the multiplier on my amd64 3000+? thanks guys!!!

thanks for everything guys... here's the problem... i don't even know what POST means??? i'm really new to OCing and was wondering if there was a REALLY newbie guide out there explaining everything from the very beginning? i checked the forum but didnt find nothing :S thanks again guys you rule.. another question... will those BIOS screenshots be optimal for EVERYONE? or do change depending on your specs? *edit: is OCing like dangerous? or if i do something stupid will the system powerdown and tell me i'm stupid? OH thats what you mean by standoff kk yea my brother shorted his board cause of those lil buggers once thanks for the advice... i'm gonna get this thing working i know i will can't wait till next week

hey all, this is my first time posting here because I just received my first ever DFI board. I can't install anything in my box yet because my video card is BOed so it should be in next week. i was wondering if anyone could prepare me for the installation process (tips and hints that may come in handy). i've built many rigs before so there shouldn't be any problems... also, does anyone have any suggestions on what how and when to OC thanks a mill guys! ciao :cool:
