OK thanks, cause I'll be upgrading from an ecs 945p-a to something else soon, still haven't made up my mind -
How To Change Your Motherboard

will the repair method work with Vista Ultimate? -
i just purchased a HIS x1950pro iceQ3 turbo. but now i need a good mobo for it. someone said that it would run better on a 975x chipset, is this true. if so what should i get?
-
didn't the ps3 go with nvidia?
-
yeah, i got it with a Pentium D 945 3.4 at Frys, great deal. stable no problems at all. i think i paid like $149
-
didn't know they were the same. but i do like ecs, just that this one(945p-a) doesn't have much to talk about.
-
OK, thanks. I guess I'll go with the x1950pro, but still don't know what mobo to get. I can't stand this ecs 945p-a, it came with my Intel d 945 CPU. it seems stable, but it's just a basic board nothing special about it. I had a Intel d975xbx, but it didn't like my CPU for some reason (temps were to high).
-
but shouldn't i get something dx10 compatible, like the 8600 or is the x1950 still the best option? this evga 680i is under $200 evga 680i
-
is there anything just a little cheaper than that, and should i keep this mobo or upgrade. (ecs 945p-a) was thinking of getting a evga 680i, ecs px1 or the abit ab9 quadgt
-
doesn't that card cost a lot?
-
i basically want to be able to play my games with better detail
-
i really just want to replace the mobo for now. need to keep it under $200, and i'll do the video cards later
-
I want to upgrade my out of date system, but can't choose if i want to stick with ati or go nvidia Current setup. mobo = ecs 945p-a cpu = Intel d945 mem. = 2gb ampo dual channel hdd = 3 seagate 400gb sata psu = 600w thermaltake purepower gpu = 2 visiontek x1300 (can't play any of my new games) i just can't choose, please help.
