I fixed it i had to set it to User Define settings then changed the multiplier to 11.5 which is the AthlonXP1700 1466Mhz and everything works now alright thanx anywayz

When I boot up for first times and CHange stuff in bios then restart my computer nothing happens just black screen one time it said CPU is inusable or unreadable but i just reset CMOS and restarted again and everything works fine but when I do that it says that I have 1100 MHz and I have a 1700XP and when i go into bios and change it to the 1700 selection it does the balck screen again any suggestions... bigger power supply i only have a 300 watt right now

DDR is faster for non-streaming applications I find it to be much faster for gaming then RDRAM so yea in my opinion DDR is faster

Hi I just bought my new MCX462Heasink and I need to know the size of the holes in my KR7A for mounting aroundthe socket I need to buy Nylon Flat washers... Black Fiber Washers Nylone 6-32 Hex Nuts, and Nylone Shoulder washers I just need to know the measurement size so i can go buy them at a hardware store thnx

alright yea that what Im gonna do it just feels like im overlooking something it seemed like such a perfect pc for me and everything looks fine i must just be missing something but im gonna send it back and have them test it and send me new one thanx for all yall's help

Alright when i boot up all the fans run and the power light lights up but I get no beeps and nothing comes up on screen, I did buy an OEM CPU AthlonXP 1700 from www.compubuzz.com thinking i was getting a deal but i guess i know now to only buy retail

i didnt get any beeps it seems wat does that mean

Ok here the deal... I have a Abit KR-7A Raid with AthlonXP 1700 and a MCX-462 Heatsink, GeForce 2 TI 200, now all thats great but I only have a 230V Power supply now I know I need a new one but my friend says that even with that power supply something should happen when i turn it on or something should come up on screen but nothing does, is this a problem or is he wrong.
