Saftlad Posted July 29, 2004 Posted July 29, 2004 Hi guys. I've been overclocking this dfi lanparty b for about 6 weeks now, gone through air cooling - watercooling - Mach2st and afew mods too , vcore, overcurrent and vdrop. I can run stable at 245*11.5 with [email protected],11,2,2,2,2 and 230*12with khx3500k2/1g.I think xms is bh6 and khx is ch5, I want to do the vdimm mod but I can't find anywhere to buy the little variable resistors over here in Scotland. Anybody know of anywhere where I can get them, I got the other ones for the vcore mods from maplin but they didn't sell the 200k ones. ClockMaster Posted July 29, 2004 Posted July 29, 2004 Hello Saftlad You can use a fixed resistor... The BIOS has adjustment if you need more or less volts... below is a chart I made of the V-Dimm values relative to the fixed resistor ohms... Saftlad Posted July 29, 2004 Posted July 29, 2004 Cheers mate just what I was after. How much voltage do you think it's safe to put through BH6, it doesnt even get warm with 3.3v. Cheers
ClockMaster Posted July 29, 2004 Posted July 29, 2004 I run my BH5's at 3.50 constant... I have read that they are good for 3.60v... giving them 3.40 should be no problem for starters
