br0k3n Posted December 16, 2006 Posted December 16, 2006 hey guys.... i was once an obsessive OCC fan but then i kinda left off, but im back! I need to buy an Athlon XP cpu to overclock the hell out of it! ... so from what i remember the 2500+ burton core was the best around, second was teh 3200+, ive looked arround and i found some 2500+ for 60-70 buks (while the 3200 are more expensive so i dont think ill be gettin those)! But i remember that they started blocking the Athlon XPs so that they couldnt be overclocked, is that right? is there a way to find out if im buying a blocked Athlon XP, or is there a way to unblock them? because i think i remember ppl started buying the XP-M(obile)... right?
