power_overwhelming_ Posted October 19, 2005 Posted October 19, 2005 Hi, I just got my 3800+ x2 system running and have taken the CPU to 2.7ghz with no problem with the ram set to 1:2. The MB is a DFI nf4 SLI-dr. The ram that I have is Corsair Twinx 4000Pro that should be able to do 250 FSB no problem. For some reason it will not work with anything above 240FSB at 1:1. I tried leaving all the timings at default and setting them to the manufacture recommended values of 3-4-4-8, but no go. Any ideas? Thanks. hardnrg Posted October 19, 2005 Posted October 19, 2005 you got the ram in the orange slots? tried different vdimm (with and without the +.03v) ? if you've done that you might want to check out: DFI NF4 Bios memory guide print it out, use it, very good guide... helped me get to 308mhz, 2.5-4-3-7-1T and right now i'm at 2.5-4-3-7-1T at 292mhz (cos it works out better for my cpu oc, 10 x 292)
