DeMoN Posted March 8, 2005 Posted March 8, 2005 Over the past few weeks i have noticed that in my blog that some of the text is not being formated right. It looks like the single quote is being read as a trademark symbol. i have checked out other machines and i have the same problems. i have used firefox and ie, and the problem is still there so is not non-cross browser code. the back end of the site is blogger which is hosted on my own server not one of google's. i have been changing the doc type in the past few days and have had no success, i have looked at others blogs and do not see the same problem. if someone could look at it and tell me what is wrong that would be great. d3bruts1d Posted March 8, 2005 Posted March 8, 2005 Your problem can be fixed by changing the encoding to UTF-8. That problem is usually caused when you copy from an MS Office program (which has a different char-set than most stuff) like Word.
