CheeseMan42 Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 Another round of benchmarks for the upcoming Intel i7-6700K Skylake-S CPUs have been released, joining the first leak from late last month. These tests were run using a "pre-sample" version of the CPUs, the previous tests used engineering samples, and compare the processors using a different series of tests. The 6700K was again pitted against the i7-4790K in Cinebench R11.5, Pasmark CPU Mark, and Geekbench 3. The 6700K beat the 4790K in all the tests, in both single and multi core configurations. The single core results were close, despite the lower frequency of the 6700K, but the multi core tests featured a larger gap between the two processors.
