Waco Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 (edited) I wouldn't go crossfire 4870s, they run really hot just as single cards and the scaling isn't amazing. What sort of budget would you have for a newer card if you sold your 4870? They scale just as well as anything else...not sure why everyone thinks they don't. Crossfire profiles with the exception of Skyrim are completely card-agnostic. For $65 I don't know if it's worth it...but if you have a good PSU and want nearly double the framerate in everything it's certainly a pretty cheap upgrade. Do note I run 4 of them in my main rig.
