Guest heasmaluesy Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 I let Ace Backup 2.1 set up on my computer and I am operating Windows 98SE. At the time I go to back up data with my mp3 cd burner, I get a message telling me that "The CD/DVD drive does not support writing. It will yet, back up to my hard drive. My Burn CD software is a "CyberDrive CW099D" and it runs fine when I make use of it all the time. I don't catch why ACE Backup won't identify my Burner. Can any person please assist me? Thanks. ThInK192 Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 You might want to check if Ace Backup supports your CyberDrive. If they do check for the latest driver and firmware updates for your CyberDrive. If no luck then I would just continue backing up to your hard drive and burn the backup file to a CD-RW.
